Travel Season
Ramsey Travel Basketball Association (RTBA) is a competitive travel basketball program with approximately 14-16 league games and one to two practices per week. Ramsey Travel Basketball starts in mid-November and ends in March. It is a Significant Commitment for both parents and players. Playing time is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the coaches. Travel basketball should be their primary sport in the winter.
The boys play in the NJJBL and the girls play in either the NWBP or BTBL travel leagues. Links to standings & schedules are below.

Practice
Each travel team will have two practices per week. The RTBA utilizes the school gyms as our main practice locations. As the school gyms are used for many events our practice schedule changes on a weekly basis. Our practices usually start at 6:30 or 7:45. Practices are usually posted on TeamSnap a week prior. As we play in a competitive travel league practices are mandatory.
Conduct
Good sportsmanship & professional behavior is expected at all times, & in all circumstances by both the player and the parent, including relatives and friends. There should be no negative feedback with referees or coaches, regarding a call or a play. We will not tolerate players that show disrespectful behavior on the court or on the bench.
Negative and/or disruptive actions by parents are cause for disciplinary actions against the parents. If the parents refuse to abide to the disciplinary action then the child's involvement with the team will be in jeopardy.
24 Hour Rule - Any comments or observations that a parent may have can be discussed with the coaching staff, after a 24-hour time period
